Brett and I helped gut his grandma's house today. If the show Hoarders was around twenty years ago she would have been the worst of the worst. Every room had a surprise in it for us. I mean EVERY room! Even the attic, which had had a fire a few years ago and been swiped clean by smoke, was full again with treasures. Or, should I say trash? It depends on who finds it first... Laurie and I are kindred spirits in the sense that we believe that nothing is ever really garbage. We can create a purpose for everything and anything. Needless to say, we were in heaven in the hoarder's home.
Lots of treasures accompanied me home and I will dream tonight of all the fantastic things I will create tomorrow!

My dog snores.
I am so happy that my dog is laying here snoring behind me. It makes me realize how content I am with life. Content may not always be a word taken with high regard or a word that whirls about envy. I cannot say that I am excited, upset, or eager about life. I am content. I am content to sit here and start this blog. Content to look at my husband and his cleanly shaven face. Content to listen to the heay breathing and slow rattle of sleep my dog expels from his nose.
